Recent Letter To The President Of The United States Concering Hydrogen Fueling Infrastructure.
Mr. President,
I'm writing with great concern that America is falling behind in its race to secure an alternative fuel. I'm the founder of "AmericansForAHydrogenEconomy.org" and I urge you to seek funding for a Hydrogen Fueling Infrastructure program in the US as quickly as possible. Automobile manufacturers have stated they will begin delivery of Hydrogen vehicles in the US as early as 2012 and the fueling infrastructure needs to be in place to support their successful introduction.
Mr. President, other countries have already begun to develop their own Hydrogen initiatives and I'm concerned that if America doesn't act soon, the US will be left behind. We have the opportunity to end our dependency on foreign oil forever in this country as well as make a substantial move towards a cleaner environment and it’s an opportunity we simply must capitalize on.
Mr. President, I truly believe that America's future depends on clean, domestically created and affordable energy. I believe America’s long term growth and stability as a nation depends on it and I believe Hydrogen is the answer. If I didn’t I wouldn’t be spending countless hours talking to anyone who will listen about its benefits and the real need to move towards it as a viable long term solution.
Thank you, Mr. President, for your attention to this matter, I would be happy to sit down with you to discuss this concern at your earliest convenience. You are welcome here in my home or I would be happy to travel to Washington to meet with you at my own expense.
